What does image-to-video AI do?
Image-to-video generation takes a still image as a visual starting point and creates motion around it. A photo can establish the subject, colors and composition. Your prompt then directs the action, camera movement and pace.
Use it to explore a product shot in motion, animate an illustration or add atmosphere to a landscape. Results depend on the source image, prompt and selected model; inspect important details before using a clip.
How to animate an image
- Choose a clear starting frame. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP. The creator shows the input limit for the selected model. Keep important subjects inside the frame and avoid tiny details that need exact preservation.
- Write a motion prompt. Describe one main action and a camera direction. Add details that should remain consistent instead of repeating every visible feature of the image.
- Choose an available combination. Pick the model, duration, aspect ratio, resolution and any available audio controls. The displayed Credit cost updates with your selection.
- Generate and review. Sign in, submit and preview the result. Download completed videos from the result panel or My Creations.
A useful first prompt
The camera slowly pushes toward the product. Soft light shifts across its surface. Keep the shape and background consistent. One continuous shot with gentle motion.
Adjust this draft to match your own image. Read the image-to-video prompt guide for product, landscape and illustration templates.
Which settings should I choose?
Available settings come from the selected model. A shorter draft can help you evaluate motion before choosing a longer result. Match the aspect ratio to your planned destination, and check the current Credit cost rather than assuming all resolutions cost the same.
When should I use text-to-video instead?
If you have a scene in mind but no starting image, use Text to Video. If a specific photo or illustration needs to define the look, stay with Image to Video. You can use either mode in Studio.
